Located just outside of Taos and only (20) minutes from the Taos Ski Valley lies Caja de Tesoro, a beautiful vacation home hidden within 3 acres of native New Mexican pine. It provides a romantic getaway for two, or a perfect retreat for the entire family.

Whether you want to ski the slopes of Taos or sway gently in a hammock on a lazy summer day, this hidden gem offers the experience of a life time in Northern New Mexico’s “Land of Enchantment.”
Located just outside of Taos and only (20) minutes from the Taos Ski Valley lies Caja de Tesoro, a beautiful vacation home hidden within 3 acres of native New Mexican pine. It provides a romantic getaway for two, or a perfect retreat for the entire family.

The downstairs has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a small kiva fireplace, a dining area, a living room with vaulted ceiling and fireplace, two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. A full bathroom is located between the two downstairs bedrooms.

There is also a half bath in the laundry room conveniently located next to the side entrance to dry out wet shoes and clothes after returning from the slopes.

The upstairs has a master bedroom with a king sized bed. For those planning to bring small children there is a twin bed and a Pack N’ Play available in the room as well. The upstairs also has a loft that overlooks the living area which provides a twin day bed with a pull-out twin bed underneath. The upstairs bathroom has a claw foot tub and walk-in shower located next to the master bedroom off the loft.

THIS HOME REQUIRES 4WD DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. The road and driveway are plowed when needed, however, the circular drive is steep and can be icy.

Located in Arroyo Seco, this vacation home is in a rural area. Al's Run Ski Lift and Taos Ski Valley are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Río Grande del Norte National Monument and Salto Del Agua Cave & Waterfall. Kakawa Chocolate House and Twirl Toystore and Playspace are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the ice skating and snowmobiling.
