Come spend your next Sierra vacation at Whispering Winds - a stunning 2-story chalet surrounded by pines and located in Dorrington, CA. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a large deck with hot tub, Whispering Winds is the ideal spot for your family and friends (2 and 4-legged!) to enjoy a mountain getaway. Enter into the light, bright, and airy great room with wall of windows, soaring knotty pine ceilings, and a wood burning stove. Wood accents throughout the cabin provide the ultimate mountain ambiance. The open dining area is also part of the great room and the fully equipped gourmet kitchen has room for multiple chefs and boasts a breakfast bar, tons of counter space, and stainless steel appliances to make whipping up meals a breeze. The primary suite is located on the main floor with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with dual vanities, jetted soaking tub, and separate shower. Upstairs you will find the two remaining bedrooms which share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom. Outside, the spacious deck wraps 2 sides of the cabin and provides the perfect space to relax and take in the crisp mountain air. There’s also a hot tub, perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes! Located close to many of Calaveras County’s biggest attractions including Bear Valley Ski Resort, Big Trees State Park, Lake Alpine, and the quaint towns of Arnold and Murphys. Ski, hike, swim, bike, shop, dine, wine-taste, or just relax at Whispering Winds!
Whispering Winds sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom suite is located on the main floor and features a Queen bed plus its own bathroom. Bedroom 2 is located upstairs with a Queen bed. Bedroom 3 is upstairs with a Queen bed and a bunk bed (2 Twins). In addition to the primary suite full bathroom, there is another full Jack n’ Jill bathroom upstairs (shared by Bedrooms 2 and 3, each have their own sink) and a half bathroom on the main floor. The laundry room is on the main floor.

Located in Arnold, this vacation home is in the mountains. Whale Rock and Chief William Fuller Monument are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Sequoia Woods Country Club and Golf Course and Milliaire Winery. Leland Meadows and Twain Harte Miniature Golf are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as sledding and snowmobiling.
