This home delivers a true Alpine experience with a top-of-the-line hot tub, heated tile floors and infrared sauna. Make check-in even more fun and convenient by calling the local snowmobile taxi service!

Only a 5 minute walk to the Bear Valley Lodge and loading zone, this is one of the closest homes to the village center.

Please keep in mind, this is a mountain cabin - The weather and snowfall is out of our control, and expect guests to know and understand this when reserving their stay!
The space
Recently added Hungarian Goose Down Comforters/Duvets in the Master Suite Down and Guest Suite upstairs. The home is also backed up by a propane-powered generator- should power be lost for any reason, the generator automatically starts and provides electricity to fully power the home, sauna, hot tub, and central, forced air, heating. The home is fully stocked with tamarack and almond wood for the wood-burning stove.
Guest access
Guests have access to the beautiful Bear Lake, a 5 minute walk as well as a BBQ and fire pit at the lake and to the swimming pool in Summer at the lodge
Other things to note
There is a TV and Apple TV connected but you will need to provide your own login for streaming apps such as Netflix/Hulu. We provide the basics: internet, high definition TV, and Apple TV box but the rest is up to you.

Keep in mind the closest grocery store is 35 minutes from my home - the general store in Bear Valley is small and has limited hours. Get the bulk of your groceries at Big Trees in Arnold for ease of travel. Snowfall can be unpredictable and can affect travel plans - plan accordingly and please reach out if you have any questions. I do not control the weather and cannot change/cancel reservations due to weather conditions.

Please be aware that there is a lock on the Spa/ Hot Tub cover so that it does not move when open. Please move that hinge/ lock back to open before trying to shut the hot tub or the locking mechanism will be damaged.
Bear Valley is a car free village in Winter- keep in mind that you will need to walk in, I can help you organize a ride in, or rent a snowmobile in Winter.

Arnold is home to this vacation home. Balancing Rock and Whale Rock are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bear Valley Cross Country and Adventure Company and Bear Valley Ski.
