Our back yard is Big Trees national forest! From the wrap around deck, enjoy morning coffee watching the sun rise. Perched up above the forest floor, looking out from the large wood deck- you'll enjoyo a 2nd living/dining room in the forest with comfortable outside furniture: couch, arm chairs, coffee table, dining table with umbrella & propane BBQ!

Our chalet has only 2 stairs to the front door once inside - it’s cozy and sweet – glamping at its finest! Wall to wall carpet make it so cozy and warm!

1st floor has two bedrooms, one full size and the other king size bedroom with forest views, a full bathroom, an open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living room. You'll love the knotty pine vaulted ceilings, wood burning stove/fireplace and sliding doors to a surround wrap around deck. Walls of windows in the A frame invite the outside in.

The 2nd floor is a fun loft with 2 twin beds, a full futon, a little couch, chair, table and ½ for the hide and seekers or stowaways!

Knotty pine vaulted ceilings create an expansive feeling and the wood stove/fireplace in the living room make for a cozy winter night fire. The 2 lazy boys and couch in the living room are super comfortable for reading a book, watching a movie or just taking that afternoon nap after a day out hiking or swimming at the Lake. For the hot summer days, air conditioning keeps you cool and the wrap around deck are perfect for cooking dinner and communing with the forest. The kitchen has a 70’s fun burnt orange retro vibe with a bar to sit and chat. While cooking, the view is of the forest with a door that goes right out to the deck with the bbq and outside living space... super convenient when cooking! Some modern comforts: cable, internet, 55inch flat screen, washer & dryer, Bear garbage can, coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave & air conditioning.

Blue Lake Spring Recreation Center is perfect for communing with the community at the private pool, lake, tennis courts, basketball courts, ping pong or movie nights - there's so much to do (guest fee required for use of Rec areas)! Or head to the Big Trees National forest, Alpine Lake & Murphys, Columbia, Wineries or Caves…so much to do explore galore!

It’s good for the heart and soul to commune with the Forest and slow down. We hope you enjoy yourself and come back soon for a little soul soothing.

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.

Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2).

Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only). Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.

Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.

Located in Arnold, this cabin is in the mountains. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Calaveras Big Trees State Park and Calaveras South Grove Nature Preserve, while Sierra Nevada Logging Museum and Murphys Creek Theatre are cultural highlights. Take in the nearby slopes with skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as sledding.
