Stay in The Stronghold, a spectacular mountain home in beautiful Arnold in the heart of Gold Country. The Stronghold is just a few hours from the SF Bay Area. Close to many wineries & historic gold mining towns.
The home is equipped with a gas firepit on the deck with seating area and a covered deck area and a Webber gas barbeque. Out back is a maintained hot tub. The home has a separate dining room and kitchen table with a fully equipped kitchen.
The home is located in the desirable Lakemont pines subdivision. Between fathers day and labor day the beach at the lake is maintained by the association where guests can check out paddle boats, kayaks and sand toys for free. See https://www.lakemontpines.org/ for more info on amenities.
The home is also located 30 minutes from Bear Valley Ski resort for wintertime fun.
Arnold is home to this cabin. Meadowmont Golf Course and Sequoia Woods Country Club and Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Calaveras Big Trees State Park and Calaveras South Grove Nature Preserve.
