This charming, historic home overlooks Arcata. It is a pleasant walk to downtown, where you can enjoy the numerous restaurants, farmers market and festivals on the Plaza. You can spend the day exploring, perusing the shelves of books at the Tin Can Mailman, checking out Sci-Fi night at the Arcata Theater Lounge or going to explore the majestic redwoods and wild coastline. It is just a short 2 block walk to Humboldt State University, where you can watch great shows at the Van Duzer Theater. The Arcata Community forest is only 3 blocks away with miles of hiking trails through the redwoods.
Our home has a spacious rolling lawn for bocce ball, or relaxing outside with a cold drink under the tree in the back yard. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen for cooking delicious meals for two, or the whole family. You will find fun dishes for all occasions in addition to a rice cooker, crock pot, blender and so much more!
There is a luxurious king size bed in one bedroom. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds for separate sleeping, or if you would prefer to have them together, they make a second king bed. The yard is full fenced for your four legged friends, so come on out and find all the comforts of home and much more in our charming lemon haven!
Located by the sea, this vacation home is in East Arcata, a neighborhood in Arcata. Finnish Country Sauna & Tubs and Baywood Golf And Country Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Sequoia Park Zoo and Humboldt State University Natural History Museum. Los Bagels and Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking/biking trails nearby.
