Step back in time at this charming house built in the 1920's, nestled on a serene half-acre lot, bordered by majestic redwood forests. This spacious retreat is ideal for larger groups seeking a unique getaway, featuring vintage decor and modern comforts. Enjoy morning coffee with occasional visits from deer grazing in the yard, or take in a glimpse of the bay from the property. Conveniently located near the university, town happenings, and moments away from breathtaking Redwood hiking trails.
The space
This is a 3 bedroom house featuring: 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 1 single. Front yard with fire pit and ring of tree stumps for seating!

From the house you are about a 5 minute drive from town where there is plenty to eat and do such as live music most nights of the week. If you drive a little father you can experience the beautiful northwest ocean and surf.
Guest access
Access to the house and property.
Of note, there is a guest unit located on the property. This main house is completely separate from the guest house.
Other things to note
-No smoking inside of the house, please clean up after yourself if smoking outside.
-No pets on the furniture or bedding. Pets may not be left unattended in the unit for any period of time.
-No parties or events without prior host approval.
-Please inquire with the host if bringing more people than on the reservations.
Located in Arcata, this vacation home is in the mountains and near the beach. Arcata Theatre Lounge and Arcata Playhouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Humboldt State University Natural History Museum and Los Bagels. Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum and Sequoia Park Garden are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
