This guesthouse was originally part of the turn-of-the-century Spreckels Aptos resort. It morphed into a farm and chicken ranch during the depression, then into a bohemian art colony in the seventies, and now, full circle, into a unique vacation destination.
With a 1600 ft.² house, 400 ft.² veranda, picnic benches by the barbecue and firepit, and hiking trails around the property, there's plenty of room to breathe.
The beach, the forest, and Aptos town are five minutes away.
Located in Aptos, this vacation home is in a rural area. Mystery Spot is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Monterey Bay and Capitola Beach. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
