The Space:

Our home has been uniquely designed for guests to stay here in a completely private area indoors. This particular unit is on our middle floor of our home with kitchen, washer and dryer, bathroom, bedrooms, living space and hot tub access! An additional arctic room attached for all your winter/summer gear for storage to help avoid overcrowding your space in the home so you can relax after a long day of activities!
Your stay here is more than just a place to rest your head. You will have coffee, stocked laundry supplies, extensive kitchenware and additional linens.
*NOTE* Others may be staying on a different floor above or below you. Potential noise from other guests is definitely possible and most likely! We have put in noise proofing as much as possible. We encourage light background noise/tv or noise machine for comfort.
*NOTE* You may be sharing the hot tub with us the owners or potential guests staying in the unit above you that have access to the deck areas. It is very very rare we have both units that want to use it simultaneously. We can always put in a time requests also. We more so expect that guests take turns using the hot tub so everyone can enjoy the feature!
Guest Access:

Guests from this unit will have direct access to the hot tub located on the back deck space. * HOT TUB IS SHARED WITH 1 OTHER UNIT ABOVE YOU*
From this same deck access, you will have stairs leading to the roof top deck on the garage.

Getting Around:

The best way to see the beauty of Alaska is to have a vehicle. We are a HUGE state and to really see its beauty, you want a car.

Most of the tourist attractions and pick up locations for tours are located downtown, about 15 minutes away via highway.

Highway access is less than a minute away!
A full grocery store is in the area, about 1-2 minutes if that down the road. Wallgreens, ice cream shop, fast food, Wellsfargo and a few local resturants are also in the same area.
Our neighborhood is VERY safe for walking! Take the kids or dogs to Oceanview park, its just 2 neighborhood blocks away. The park has a jungle jim, short walking trails and can get to the train tracks for some unique photos!
Walk to a coffee kiosk stand and South Side Bistro local diner! A 5 minute walk just outside the neighborhood. A popular spot for breakfast!
Other Things to Note:

This is a house that has been uniquely remodeled into 3 private units. You will have other people possible being on a different floor. Just keep that in mind when booking. It is NOT the entire building structure to yourself.
We are open to having guests over to enjoy the deck space and visit family/friends. You will be responsible for your guests at all times and clean up after. Please communicate your guests visiting so we are all on the same page.

Old Seward - Oceanview, a neighborhood in Anchorage, is home to this vacation home. Tanglewood Lakes Golf Club and Anchorage Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark and Alaska Zoo. Putters Wild and Campbell Creek Greenbelt Park are also worth visiting.
