Our cabin is nestled in between two of the most beautiful National Parks in the country: Zion and Bryce Canyon. We are 39 miles from Zion, 41 miles from Bryce, 38 miles from Brian Head Ski resort, a few hours drive to Lake Powell and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We have access to miles and miles of ATV trails. Whether you decide to go to the National Parks or stay at the cabin and enjoy the beauty of the local area and all that nature has to offer, it will be a memorable experience.

We recently installed air conditioning as well. When looking at the temperatures in the area, it may not appear to be important to have A/C, but after several years of experience, we think it really is. Any cabin that has its “A frame” window side facing west, can get extremely hot in the late afternoon. This can cause any upstairs rooms to retain the heat, well into the night, even with temperatures falling into the 50s and all the windows open. The A/C is simply a way to get the temperature in to the high 70s, so that when the windows are opened, the entire cabin will cool quickly and everyone can be comfortable at night and have a good sleep.

Located in Duck Creek Village, this cabin is in a rural area and in the mountains. Alton Amphitheater and Bristlecone Loop are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Dixie National Forest and Mammoth Cave. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and sledding.
