Very quiet, secure and peaceful neighborhood in Mount Vernon. This is the former neighborhood of the First President of America George Washington. The neighborhood encompasses the Museum and Mausoleum of George Washington which is a 2 -5 mins by car or 10 - 15 minutes walk.
Walk to the biggest Shopping center in Alexandria and Fairfax County where you can find almost all the restaurants, shops. Major stores like Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Shoppers and many others. There is Express Bus and 24/7 public buses that take you directly to Kings Street & Huntington Metro station as well as connect you to other buses and trains everywhere in VA, DC & MD. Walk to Sherwood Hospital, regional Library and very close to National Harbor, Fort Belvoir, Alexandria Old town, DCA Airport, DC, Pentagon etc.

The home is equipped with a security camera on the main entrance door. There is also a security camera in the front yard and back yard. These cameras will be on during your stay. To maintain the privacy of our guests there are no security cameras or recording devices in private spaces like bedrooms, bathrooms, or sleeping areas.
Alexandria is home to this vacation home. George Washington's Mount Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery are notable landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Fashion Center at Pentagon City and Union Station Shopping Center. Smithsonian Institution and National Air and Space Museum are not to be missed.
