GUEST ACCESS

• Guests will have access to the entire cabin (minus 1 cleaner closet) and yard area.

• The inside fireplace is inoperable due to liability reasons but we have a beautiful private fire pit outside the cabin! We always have firewood stocked at the cabin for you and plenty of chairs outside.

Parking
• 1 covered carport parking spot
• Up to about 4 gravel driveway parking spots
• Boat trailers are welcome, but we do have a lot of trees around our driveway so be aware of that.

• We don’t live on site but we love hosting and want to ensure you’re comfortable and enjoying your time at our cabin. Reach out anytime with questions or needs!
LOCATION

• Located on Monkey Island, you'll be on island time when you're here. Rest, relax and let your hair down for a good time!

• Twin Retreat Cabin #1 is located about a mile from the Shangri La Resort, spa, activity center, and golf courses!

• Monkey island is connected with walking and golf cart paths.

• We're just a few hundred feet of an easy walk to The Shebang and Big Shots.

• We don’t offer a golf cart but you can rent one from The Golf Cart Guyz here on the island. Let us know if you'd like us to connect you with them!

• Please respect our neighbors who live here full time and observe our quiets hours between 10pm-8am, 7 days a week.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE

• We provide the initial toiletry items for kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Additional supplies will be the guests' responsibility.

• Our smart TVs are ready to stream your accounts.

• Kid friendly and accommodating with shades in bedrooms, Pack-n-Play, high chair, toys/games, and eating utensils.

• The cabin is easy walking distance to dining & bars nearby.

• Guests may see some wildlife or insects during your stay — this is common for properties in natural, wooded, or lakeside areas.

Located in Afton, this cabin is in a rural area and on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Grand Lake O' the Cherokees and Bernice State Park, while Afton Station and Har-Ber Village are cultural highlights. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
