Denali's Doorstep is the name we've chosen for our 31 ft Alaskan motorhome, because it is what takes us to our favorite places in Alaska... and all we have to do is step out the camper door! With a HUGE slide out, large holding tanks, sleeping for 8, and plenty of storage, you and your family will be enjoying Alaska in the most comfortable and exciting way possible!
As a 20+ yr Veteran Air Force family, we've explored almost every major road in the state, from the North Slope to the tip of Homer! We love Alaska so much that we changed our residency, put down roots, and purchased a piece of property just outside of Cantwell. We'd love to share that amazing piece of property with you as part of your experience in the RV. We have constructed one of the most incredible, scenic, beautiful, remote, Alaskan RV camping destinations in the state. It's a MUST see, and staying at the site for a day or two will be an option for you when you have a confirmed reservation with the RV.
When booking your trip, unless you're very experienced at RV camping, we suggest reserving "full hookup" sites at the campground, or at least "electric and water" sites. You'll be much more comfortable! IF you're an experienced RV enthusiast, we have the perfect RV for boondocking on the road system.
With so much to see and do in Alaska, you'll hate wasting the daylight sleeping! But there's nothing better than being able to just pull over and take a quick nap when you get sleepy. A 10 minute nap does wonders while your family prepares lunch in the kitchen. Bring your sleeping mask, cause the sun never sets in the summer time!
