Chris Burmaster, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S. C.O.M.T, C.S.C.S. is the center manager, and is also a full-time physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy's West Palm Beach center. Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, Chris received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) through Arcadia University graduating with distinction (4.0 G.P.A.) He received his Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the the State University of New York at Buffalo summa cum laude (highest honors) He has earned board-certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (O.C.S.) from the American Physical Therapy Association, is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) and is also a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (C.O.M.T.) by the Ola Grimsby Institute. Chris has special interest in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, especially in the treatment of surgical and non-surgical rotator cuff tears and various shoulder disorders. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golfing and scuba diving. He traveled with the LPGA Tour for several years as one of their physical therapists. Chris has been trained in and utilizes Kinesiotaping and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (I.A.S.T.M) in the treatment of his patients.
