Whatever Dr. Auger does, she is positive, firm, and enthusiastic in her approach. Dr. Auger grew up in Long Island, New York, graduating from North Babylon High School in 1988. She graduated from Long Island University in 1992, completing her pre medical education and receiving her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition, whereupon she was accepted to The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, now known as Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Auger graduated from P.C.P.M in 1996 and continued on to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete 3 years of intensive training in foot surgery and wound care during her medical residency.
Being fond of the Utah lifestyle, Dr. Auger chose to stay in the Salt Lake City area where she has been in private practice since 1999. Dr. Auger is a member of The College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine by The American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.
Dr. Auger has continued her interest in the field of nutrition because of the ongoing research that is being performed to empower each individual with the incredible healing process of food in the body. This interest has transformed her into the passionate gardener she is today, growing and sharing her many edibles and flowers with friends and family. She is a highly active person and often finds herself drawn to the Wasatch Mountains with her border collies for the trail running, hiking, and snowshoeing opportunities that exist.
