Allie Dee, PT, DPT - WEST PALM BEACH, FL

Allie M. Dee, PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist for Select Physical Therapy's West Palm Beach center located at 2670 Forest Hill Blvd in West Palm Beach, Florida. Allie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and has certifications in both Neuromuscular and Clinical Massage Therapy from The Atlanta School of Massage.

Allie has completed over 80 hours of elective course work in Osteopathic Manual Therapy and is currently working towards her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification (C.O.M.T.) through the Ola Grimsby Institute. In addition, Allie has completed advanced education in Pilates and in the training and treatment of lumbar spine, sacroiliac joint, hip, knee, and ankle injuries in both dancers and runners. Allie provides dance education, physical therapy and screenings to several dance studios and companies in the Palm Beach area and is an active member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (I.A.D.M.S). She works closely with physicians and uses evidence-based techniques to facilitate the best functional outcomes for her patients.

Allie's 20+ years of dance experience provides her with an exceptional understanding of the body, alignment, and movement. Her expertise includes treating patients suffering from dance and sports related injuries, manual therapy, orthotic fabrication, Pilates, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (I.A.S.T.M.), and Kinesiotaping.

In addition to her love of dance, Allie is also an avid runner who has competed in many half-marathons and marathons.
