A private, modern home in the woods with a screened in back porch and fenced back yard to keep the moose out! Home is 3/4 mile off the Parks Highway in a wooded neighborhood on a loop drive 12 minutes from downtown Wasilla.
This nearly 1400 sq ft house has a large master bedroom with a queen bed, attached bath with double sinks, a tub and walk-in shower and walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms also have queen beds and closets with hangers and shelves for your clothing. These rooms share a hall bath that has a large vanity with drawers and a combination tub/shower. There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. The living room, dinning room and kitchen are open concept. The living room has a TV above the gas fireplace, a side chair and two sofas. The dining room table seats 8. Our kitchen is fully functional with a good supply of pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, toaster, coffee pot, an instant-pot, air fryer and even a salad spinner! The screened back porch will be delightful in the summertime.
Located in Wasilla, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a lake. Settlers Bay Golf Course and Iditarod Trail Headquarters are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Big Lake South State Recreation Site and Big Lake North State Recreation Area. Alaska Live Steamers and Musk Ox Farm are also worth visiting.
