Spend an evening stargazing with the beautiful telescope or watch a DVD movie on the 37-inch flatscreen cable TV. The dining table is the perfect place to host a family game night. Pluck a new novel off the shelf of the private library and enjoy a little private time up on the loft.

Waldport is a quiet fishing village that boasts a lovely stretch of sand for beachcombing, flying kites, wandering along the shore, or just relaxing with a good book. Nearby, the Alsea River is a local favorite for fishing, crabbing, and even kayaking. On nights you don't feel like preparing meals, dinner out is an easy option here - Visit Azul Mexican restaurant for tacos al pastor or the Flounder Inn Tavern for drinks, karaoke, and their famous broasted chicken. When you need a change from the slow, relaxing pace in Waldport, jump in the car and head to Newport, only 15 miles north. On rainy days, spend the day exploring the Oregon Coast Aquarium then follow it up with a lunch and brewery tour at Rogue Ales. Aside from the bustling bayfront, the Nye Beach section of Newport has small shops, cafes, and more of that gorgeous Oregon coastline to explore with the kids and family dog.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
