Jane is a physical therapist for Select Physical Therapy's West Hartford outpatient physical therapy center. She has achieved success in the treatment of all types of orthopedic injuries and specializes in pediatrics and women's health, especially addressing musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy. Recently, Jane became full body certified in Active Release Technique, a soft tissue mobilization treatment used to heal soft tissue injuries and a technique very popular among the running and triathlon community. Jane also is the center manager for the West Hartford office and one of three market managers for Connecticut.
Jane earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1981 and a Master of Science in Applied Anatomy and Physiology from Boston University in 1985. She has completed numerous continuing education courses including:
*Active Release Technique
*Cyriax certification
*Mobilization courses for the extremities and spine
*Treatment of Running Injuries
*Biomechanical assessment of the Foot and Ankle and Orthotic Prescription
*Pediatric and Women's Health courses
