Villa Mon Repos, also known as MAV MON, is a 4-bedroom villa located in Walk/The Baths within a short walk of the beach and minutes from shopping. This villa is situated on more than 1 acre of fully fenced flat lawn studded with smooth boulders.
A native stone staircase leads up to the pool deck and entrance from the parking area. The octagonal great room, which shares its space with the open-plan kitchen and indoor dining area, is furnished with twin sofas. A striking inlaid antique Indian screen flanks the living area. More dining areas are located on the covered verandah and under a covered area off the pool deck. Off the great room is an air-conditioned media room, which is furnished with sofas and has an assortment of games, puzzles, books, and DVD movies.
Situated just beyond the media room is the spacious and unique master suite, which is furnished with a caned antique mahogany West Indian settee, a mahogany desk, private roofed veranda, and stone patio. One of the walls has the smooth side of a granite boulder embedded, while another smaller boulder forms a table at the foot of the bed. A soaking bathtub with a shower graces the master bathroom, which is flanked by a tiled vanity with a colorful Mexican ceramic sink.
On the opposite side of the great room are 2 more bedrooms, which share a tiled bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms in this wing open to a connecting covered veranda with chairs. Stairs descend to an apartment suite, which has a second kitchen with a dining table, a living area with sofa, a tiled bathroom with shower, and a unique bedroom in which the queen-size bed is set on a slightly raised smooth boulder.
Right outside the great room is a spacious slate-tiled pool deck set with chaise lounges, chairs, and side tables, overlooking the fenced flat lawn (an ideal spot for watching children play below). This non-smoking property also has swings for kids, WiFi, an automatic generator, 2 charcoal barbecues, a satellite Dish network, and air-conditioning in the bedrooms and media room.
