Martin Scorsese's documentary of the 1976 final performance of the legendary Sixties rock group The Band is at once a show featuring some of the greatest rock performers of their generation, and a bittersweet look back at an era. It was filmed on Thanksgiving Day, 1976 at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, and has been hailed as one of the greatest concert films ever made. Also featuring Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Dr. John, Neil Diamond, Ringo Starr, Paul Butterfield, Emmylou Harris and more.
