A GOOD EDUCATION

We all want a good education for our kids.

Today, education must appear relevant if it’s going to stick…and the delivery must be dramatic, energized and entertaining. It must be fun.

I have been trained in project based learning which targets how the brain learns best. Fun and relevance is how the brain learns best in adolescents. As a public school teacher, it is my prime directive to bring fun and relevance into the classroom. Honesty and transparency seems to be the way. I will, however, “teach to the test’ when necessary to ensure that my students will succeed with the state’s standardized tests.

I am well versed in all middle school academic subjects and I will build strength into your child’s academics where ever it is needed and I will keep a watchful eye on their entire academic portfolio. If there is a weakness in any subject matter we will strengthen it. Where there is strength we will make it even stronger.
