You can bike, walk, hike and cross country ski in the surrounding countryside. More extensive activities can be found in the surrounding High Peaks Region. The property is only 4 miles from the Whiteface Mountain Ski area so you can be on the slopes in minutes.

A 15-mile ride will bring you to Lake Placid and the Olympic Village where you'll find shops, restaurants, and activities. There are also plenty of wonderful local restaurants (Keane) and bars (Lake Placid and AuSable Forks), as well as rivers, lakes, and streams for boating, fishing, canoeing, or swimming.

Back at the house, there is plenty of room to relax. This pine log home features a great room on the main floor with a fireplace and twenty-six foot high ceilings with plenty of glass front to let in the views. Adjacent to the great room is the dining room with ample seating, and a fully stocked kitchen will all top of the line appliances. On the main floor are two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom, and upstairs you'll find the master bedroom with a king-size bed and a walkout balcony.
