Frances McMillan Massage

We work at Shaw-lands chiropractic clinic treating a variety of patients. The soft tissue work that we do compliments chiropractic adjustments. We provide Massage services in Strathbungo and work to relax the body-mind, target specific areas to relieve pain and advise on stretches and postural changes to help long term healing. We work therapeutically in the Eating Disorder in-patient unit at The Priory Hospital. Bodywork can have significant impact to the healing process, enabling patients to slowly rediscover their body as a resource. We use techniques from Somatic Experiencing and study the work of Peter Levine, Purges, Rothschild and Bessel van der Kolk to support my work.
