Dr. Moore was blessed to attend both Arizona State University in 1991 which she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor degree and the University of Florida in 1995 in which she graduated Cum Laude with her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine both on full tuition academic scholarships. Dr. Moore's first year in practice in Tampa Bay was connected to a veterinary referral specialist, which furthered her establishing a high standard of practicing general medicine. She then began teaching for several years as an assistant professor, at St. Petersburg College in their veterinary technician program's anesthesia department. She taught while working full time in practice. Dr. Moore extends her desire to teach into practice through emphasizing education to her clients to allow their pets to receive the best preventative care possible. Dr. Moore's love to teach translates to a love for learning and hence she enjoys regularly attending various training yearly ranging from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, American Association of Feline Practitioners and the North American Veterinary Conference as well as local available courses. Locally Dr. Moore has helped educate the general public at community events regarding pet microchipping/pet loss prevention and preventative health care. Personally Dr. Moore has been married for 20 years and has five amazing children. As a family they have three rescued Domestic Short Haired cats named, Clairabell, Critter and Chloe. From childhood to adulthood, Dr. Moore has had many pets of a huge variety, cats, dogs, horses, pocket pets, and reptiles.
