WSA’s mission is to foster an open, transparent, and rules-based trading environment that enables the spirits industry to thrive.



The objective of the WSA and its members is to advocate for:



• Elimination of tariff, non-tariff barriers;

• Fair, transparent and evidence-based regulation of distilled spirits;

• Adequate excise tax structures and non-discriminatory taxes;

• Proportionate evidence-based public health measures for distilled spirits;

• Ambitious strategies to combat illicit alcohol.
