Dr. Judy Hu is a board certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology who received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, James H. Quillen College of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and also did a year of clinical research at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, concentrating on psoriasis and quality of life issues. Dr. Hu was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Dermatology at East Tennessee State University before starting private practice. Dr. Hu specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with extensive experience in skin rejuvenation utilizing injections and laser therapy. She continues to stay at the forefront of the field and has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, Cutis, Journal of Dermatologic Treatments, Skin and Aging, and International Journal of Dermatology. Still, Dr. Hu finds providing compassionate care is the most satisfying aspect of being a dermatologist.
