Dr. Allison Erkman was born right outside of Nashville, TN, in the city of Mount Juliet. She began riding horses at 5 years old, and these first riding lessons fueled her desire to be a veterinarian. Dr. Erkman attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, for her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, with minors in Biology and Spanish. Dr. Erkman attended the University of Tennessee - College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2015.

Following veterinary school, she completed an internship in Rochester, NH, at Myhre Equine Clinic & Cocheco Veterinary Hospital. After her internship, Dr. Erkman moved to Houston to begin practicing at a local small animal hospital, where she was able to foster her love of soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Erkman is ecstatic to be a new part of the team at VCA Four Seasons Animal Hospital, and is looking forward to meeting both two-legged and four-legged family members. She is joined in Texas by her husband - Sebastien; a Beagle/Treeing-Walker Coonhound mix named Sadie; and (the most recent addition to her family) a Pitbull mix, April. In her spare time, Dr. Erkman enjoys horseback riding, going to the beach, and reading.
