The Hideaway at Ruby Ranch is a magnificent home tucked away in a gated community located north of Silverthorne. With 5900 sf to roam around in, you’ll find 4 roomy bedrooms, a nursery/kid’s room within one of the bedrooms, and all bedrooms have an en suite bathroom and private balcony. The basement contains a full blown game room, multiple flat screen TVs, 8 seat home cinema and your own private 'pub' with two beer taps to help quench your thirst after a long day on the mountain. The Hideaway has a chef’s kitchen, large gas fireplace, formal dining room with seating for 12, 1 car garage, W/D, and an outdoor hot tub. Although the road and driveway will be plowed, 4WD/AWD is virtually required in the winter unless one has snow tires. Featured in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles magazine, the exterior and interior of the home incorporates local Colorado stone, reclaimed barn siding and logs, hand-laid decorative tile, Italian plaster, and metal roof. Enter on the ground floor from the one car garage or front door and find yourself in one beautiful and artistic room after another. The ground floor has a ski equipment storage area, large laundry with a full size washer and two dryers. Feel free to borrow any of the stored jackets, ski boots, hats, gloves or ski pants that fit. The main living area has a large gas fireplace faced with rough-hewn Colorado stone, comfortable upholstered and leather furniture, and unique art pieces.The kitchen beckons home chefs with room to work, double ovens, gas stove, flat screen TV, two dishwashers and a large pantry room that contains small appliances, serving dishes, microwave, and a dumbwaiter to the game room below. Serve meals in the formal dining room or at the casual and comfortable breakfast nook. Walk down the picture window lined hallway to the Romance Room, a secluded bedroom with vaulted ceiling, deck, queen bed, and a claw foot tub in the bathroom. Take the wooden stairs up one flight to the other three bedrooms. The Bunk Room has four twin size beds, lots of carpeted floor space, a TV, kids’ books, and reading lamps over each bed. The en suite two-in-one bathroom has two large tiled showers, two toilets and a double sink area. Find two more bedrooms on this level, each with a queen size bed. Within one of the bedrooms there is a nursery room with a twin size day bed for the little one. This bedroom’s en suite bathroom has a claw foot tub and double sinks. The third bedroom presents the guest with a wall of windows looking into the forest and a bathroom with a huge shower, double sinks and a gorgeous hand-laid tile floor. From the ground level take the stairs down one flight and find yourself in one of the best areas of the house - the bar, game room and home cinema. After experiencing the fun and games in this part of the house, guests may find it difficult to leave! The two beer taps, barstools, pilsner glasses, ice maker, large flat screen TV and plenty of counter space turns a simple bar area into a 'pub'. Yes, the two beer taps are operational for guests who want to use them. One tap is connected to a keg and a second keg of your favorite beer can be ordered and installed. Adjacent to the bar is the large game room, complete with a full size pool table, piano, ping pong table, an armoire full of games for all ages as well as yoga blocks, mats and straps. Sit at the wooden game table to play checkers or a favorite card game. At the far end of the game room is an 8 seat honest-to-goodness home cinema. There’s extra floor room for the kids to sit. Driving to and from The Hideaway, guests will undoubtedly see Ruby Ranch’s resident elk herd and perhaps moose and other wildlife. Ruby Ranch is a private residential neighborhood. The Ruby Ranch HOA specifically prohibits loud parties, any disruption of the neighbors’ peace and privacy, weddings, corporate retreats, and other commercial activities. Violation of these prohibitions may lead to immediate eviction. The Hideaway feels like it’s located many miles away from town, but guests will be delighted to find it only takes a few minutes to drive into Silverthorne and Dillon for restaurants, outlet shopping, entertainment and the supermarket. RESTRICTIONS:The minimum age limit to rent is 30. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. This is a nonsmoking residence: Absolutely no smoking is allowed at this property and there will be a minimum charge of $250 against the renter’s credit card for remediation if there is any evidence of smoking in the house. We love animals, but due to homeowner association deed restrictions, animals are not allowed by renters nor their guests. The layout of the home makes it difficult for those with mobility impairments.

The HOA also requires that short term guests groups either be made up of, or largely consist of, families.The full capacity assumes 2 people in the master bedroom, 2 in each of the queen beds in the secondary bedrooms, and 4 in the bunk room.

There aren't so much great views (it's called the hideaway for a reason) because it's nestled within the trees, but the feel is very private and beautiful. If we stay in Dillon/Silverthorne again for skiing, this place will always be on our list. Great house just a 15 minute drive from Keystone's slopes. Highly recommend.

It is very private with beautiful surroundings yet just minutes to Silverthorne, Dillon and Frisco. I would suggest a 4-wheel drive vehicle if staying here in the winter months. The home is spacious, well supplied & a unique design. Our group of 10 had plenty of room for various activities. The theatre room and game room were a huge hit and gave everyone plenty to do in the evenings. The kitchen is huge and stocked to cook any meal you could imagine. We can't say enough good things about Scott & Cynthia at Twin Seasons because they went above and beyond the call of duty to meet our needs, even on a holiday. When staying in a free standing home with no front desk, it is important to have a concerned & reliable management company & the staff at Twin Seasons was quick to personally handle any issue. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be near several ski resorts and close to town.
