Janet is awesome. When we rescued Leia, our 10 month old Golden Setter (mix between a Golden Retriever and Irish Setter), we knew that we needed help quickly. Janet came to our home for an eval within days of my initial contact. She was able to help us determine what issues we needed to tackle first. Janet help us to establish good routines for Leia that helped her adjust to her new family, Leia had not been socialize with other dogs and we were worried that she was a lost cause. Janet was able to introduce Leia to dogs in a way that was non threatening and the results were amazing. Leia now goes to play with other dogs regularly without issue.
Having Janet come to our home to train made a world of difference with how we learned to train Leia. It was easier to repeat the training since we were able to first observe Janet's training techniques in Leai's home environment.
She taught us how to use positive reinforcement to get Leia to listen by using praise, petting and training treats.
Janet has a true gift for training dogs. Leia and I are so grateful for all that she has done for us.
