DutaMab, a novel format of BsAbs, is formed by linking two independent paratopes in a single immunoglubin chain. Taking advantage of the diversity of natural CDRs, two paratopes targetting their own antigen are generated with great stability. Thus, DutaMab is able to bind to two targets with high affinity simultaneously. Meanwhile, its lower-than-picomolar affinities, outstanding chemical stability and good manufacturing properties also make it one of the leading candidates in therapeutic development.
