As you'll find when you come in, the house feels spacious and cozy at the same time. The entry soars upwards and draws you to the main floor...
First, the fantastic living space on the ground floor demands your attention - it almost feels like a suite for the single bedroom on this floor. The living area opens into the small backyard and is a perfect little retreat space. A full bathroom is right next to the bedroom, and the bedroom itself feels lush with the green just outside the windows.
On the main floor, upstairs, hang out in the living room, feast at the long wooden table (seats 8!), prepare food in the spacious kitchen or relax to a movie on the 80" smart TV in the media room. From this floor, you can catch your first views of the lake through the trees.
On the third floor, the master bedroom boasts the best views in the house, with giant windows looking over the lake. Enjoy a full closet and the best bathroom in the house as well, with two sinks, a giant tub and a double-headed shower for an overhead rain shower, or standard option. The two other bedrooms on this floor are tastefully decorated and share a bathroom with a double sink and an enclosed shower and toilet.
For the very best views on the property, ascend to the rooftop deck. On clear days, you can see Mt. Rainier in the distance, and you can always see Lake Washington.
While there are 4 beds in the house, we prefer to have no more than two unrelated family members staying in the house. In other words, we started out naive last fall and a few people got the impression this could make a great "party house." It's a lovely spacious home, and worked out very well for guests that had family gatherings over the holidays. But this is our private residence and we are looking for guests that will love it and treat it with the same respect as they would their own home. If that's you, then please, we welcome you to come stay in our dream home! Check out our Instagram account: @willowlakehouse
