Welcome to Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital!
My love for animals had started early on in my life. I had spent my whole childhood with our wonderful dog, named Jimmy . His companionship inspired me to become a veterinarian and pick a profession where I get to help and spend a lot of my time with other furry friends.
I graduated in 1996 with Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Punjab Agricultural University in India and went on to receive my Master's in Veterinary Pathology in 1998 from the same university. Then I finished a graduate program in Clinical Pathology and received my diploma in Clinical Pathology in 1999 from Ontario Veterinary College in Canada. I then traveled in 2000 to Oklahoma State University where I completed a year of clinical training. I have worked in Seattle, WA as an associate initially and then as a chief of the staff for about three years in a busy veterinary clinic and then I moved to a multi-doctor 24 hour practice in Brooklyn, NY in 2004 where I worked for 3 years and got a wonderful experience of managing critically ill patients . In July of 2007, I joined Brighton Eggert animal clinic in Buffalo,NY and managed this 9 DVM practice as a medical director for 7 years. In 2014, our family relocated to San Diego and I joined and managed Lifetime Animal Care Center, a 3 DVM practice for 3 years. In 2017, I took ownership of Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital and fulfilled my dream of owning my own animal hospital.
My areas of interests include feline medicine, geriatric care, diagnostic imaging, dentistry and clinical pathology.
When not working, I enjoy traveling, reading and sampling different ethnic cuisines. I currently reside in in our local community of Rancho Bernardo with my wife and 2 children- a 10 year old son and a 8 year old daughter.
