I am one of the Marina District residents who feels that Seaport Village is in dire need of a makeover, and the proposed One Pacific at Seaport Village would offer an amazing one for this beautiful, but truly outdated lttle piece of heaven on the Embarcadero. Terramar Retail Centers has made plans to convert the dilapitated Old Police Headquarters on the corner of Harbor drive and Pacific Highway into a dynamic mix of retail, restaurants and entertainment spaces. (Think Embarcadero in San Francisco). The 92,274 square foot project will include 4.5 acres of open space, a Pier walk building witha fish processing facility and several retail shops and waterfront restaurants. With a population of nearly 22,000 within one mile of the location and an average household income of $64,000, there is a definite need for revitalization.
