Dr. Brausen was born and raised in Pierz, (a small town in central Minnesota). He graduated from the University of Minnesota at Morris, where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. While going to college, he injured his low back. After going to various health care providers, he began seeing a chiropractor. Within a few visits his back pain was gone. Upon graduating from Morris, enrolled at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. While at NWCC, he completed a wide array of coursework, including elective courses in acupuncture. Other areas of chiropractic he finds particularly interesting are whiplash trauma, sports chiropractic and spinal rehabilitation. Dr. Brausen is the chiropractor in Sister Rosalind's St. Paul and Burnsville clinics.

Dr. Brausen has dedicated his life to healing the body, spirit, and mind. He believes that chiropractic treatment is the most sensible and effective way to treat many common health problems. He also believes in the preventative power of chiropractic care.

Dr. Brausen enjoys camping, sports, and spending time with his three children during his free time.
