E. Braden "Brad" Brasfield, M.S.P.T, O.C.S: Mr. Brasfield is a Licensed and Registered Physical Therapist dedicated to helping patients improve their physical functioning, their mental outlook after injury, and subsequently, their ability to enjoy all aspects of their lives. As Director and Lead Therapist of Telegraph Road Physical Therapy in St. Louis, he and his staff take pride in providing advanced, full-service physical therapy treatments delivered one-on-one, with compassion, encouragement, and positive motivation.

After graduating from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Mr. Brasfield returned to St. Louis where he was reared. (For those of you who have to know - he attended Parkway West High School). He was published twice for cancer research at Washington University Medical School and then attended Boston University where he received his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy (M.S.PT) degree. Mr. Brasfield was honored at graduation with the Amy Flynn Ramirez Award for Academic Excellence and Clinical Promise. While in Boston, he also helped develop a pilot program to assist homeless, underprivileged, and mentally challenged people with overall health, fitness, nutrition, and psychosocial aspects of life.

He obtained his board certification as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist in 2003 after treating thousands of cases successfully and passing a rigorous exam. He earned the Service From The Heart Award for outstanding customer service when recognizing signs of cancer in a patient that had been previously overlooked. He has over 400 hours of advanced continuing education in the fields of orthopedics, geriatrics, sports rehab, M.L.B team training, manual therapy, neurology and strokes, biomechanics, orthotic casting, chronic pain, vestibular and balance rehab, and cutting-edge modalities. His main interests are Orthopedics - both in preventing the need for surgery and post-surgical rehabilitation, Geriatrics - with an emphasis in gait and balance training and prevention of falls, Sports injuries and training, Chronic pain treatment, and Worker’s Injuries. “We’re proud of our ability to diagnose the cause of your pain correctly and to treat each patient with the therapy that’s best suited for that patient’s individual condition.” Mr. Brasfield is dedicated to his patients’ goals and eagerly anticipates each one being fully achieved using an eclectic approach. St. Louis patients and physicians alike know that Brad Brasfield is an encouraging therapist focused on compassionate outcome based care, getting optimal results, often when others have failed.

Mr. Brasfield became the owner and operator of Telegraph Road Physical Therapy in February 2004. Since that time, he has expanded the clinic and has purchased all new equipment to better serve our patients. He lectures to senior and community groups as well as athletic teams and coaches in the community. At this time, he is also starting up a pilot research study on falls in the elderly and the effects of physical therapy on prevention of future falls. He is also gathering data on total knee replacement outcomes.

Mr. Brasfield enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodi, and their three young children. He is unable to give-up on his sports career as he played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and played some baseball at the collegiate level. He stays active in baseball / softball leagues as well as playing golf and tennis with family and friends. In the summer, you will find him at Busch Stadium rooting on the Cardinals or hiking and camping with his family. In the winter, he follows the Rams and especially the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Basketball program. He and his family attend and are active members of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church.

Christine P.: Paient Care Coordiantor (P.C.C) / Office Manger: Christine has lived in St Louis all her life, she graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School and Meramec Community College. Christine has been with Telegraph Road Physical Therapy for over a year and her organizational skills are heavily utilized and greatly appreciated. Her role as P.C.C. is to ensure that we deliver the best quality of care to our patients, and that we are servicing all your needs. Her family has been active memebers of St Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish since 1992. Christine is married and a proud mother of three boys and one girl, her eldest, Donny, is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
