Dr. David Hart graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Millikin University prior to that. After owning his own practice, he became the Medical Director of VCA Bal-Coeur in 2008. Dr. Hart's primary interests are in internal medicine as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
His wife, Karen, is also a veterinarian, and they have two wonderful children and a fair number of family pets. In his "free" time, Dr. Hart landscapes and renovates their home in Sunset Hills.
Dr. Hart is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association. He also sits on the board of directors for the Animal Emergency Clinic, and holds the title of president of the St. Charles Animal Emergency Clinic.
