Sarah Jones grew up in San Clemente, CA. She graduated with a BA degree in Human Biology from Stanford University in 2005, and competed for 4 years on Stanford Women’s Swimming Team. From 2005 to 2006 she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator managing studies involving post-operative care and management. She then decided to pursue her childhood dream of caring for animals, and completed a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Certificate at Columbia University in New York City while working as a Veterinary Assistant from 2006 to 2008. She then completed her DVM degree UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She has a special interest in Diagnostic Imaging and Medicine. She enjoys spending time with many athletic and outdoor activities, including running, swimming, biking, and hiking. Some of her favorite backpacking trips include Kalalau trail in Kauai, Yosemite, and Machu Pichu in Peru.
