Wash your worries away on Moosehead Lake at this charming cabin, featuring an unbeatable lakefront location, views of the water and Mt. Kineo from your back deck, and a private dock for swimming, fishing, and boating fun! You can even bring the family dog.
Located just steps from the water on the central western shore of the lake, this cabin offers a quiet location free of the noise and distractions of town. The large, grassy yard is ideal for campfires, lawn games, and barbecues, and the pebble beach is great for swimming and wading.
This cabin is well cared for and has hosted vacationing families for generations. Rock away your mornings on the back deck admiring the view and go for a swim off the dock to feel refreshed. Use the fully equipped kitchen to cook up tasty meals and fire up the gas grill to cook up your fresh catch of the day. Lakeside dining is a must at the patio table on the dock. Get cozy every night next to the gas fireplace with a book or a show on the cable TV.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Dock details: The dock is 20’ long and 4’ wide.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Located in Rockwood, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Moosehead Historical Society and Lumbermen's Museum and Katahdin Cruises and Moosehead Marine Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mount Kineo Trailhead and Big Squaw Mountain Ski Resort.
