'Dr Todd,' as he is known by his clients and patients, graduated from UC Davis vet school in 1992. Before moving to Virginia he lived in northern California. He enjoys surgery, dentistry, and working with clients to manage chronic illnesses.

In addition, Dr Todd is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and incorporates acupuncture as well as homeopathy, and herbal medicine into his treatment plans. Dr Todd and his wife, Toni, live in Blacksburg with their dogs and cats. They enjoy hiking, reading, and fixing up their new home.
