Dr. Paul K. Kim is the founder of Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital. With more than 20+ years of experience, Dr. Kim has saved many patients' lives over the years. Dr.Kim’s special interest is orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. He had been performing advanced orthopedic surgeries including cruciate ligament surgery, patella luxation fixation, disc surgery, complicated fracture fixations and many other orthopedic surgery that are not usually performed in other primary care hospitals.

Dr.Kim Received his Degree of Veterinary Medicine from the Graduate of Seoul National University and completed his first internship was at the Samsung Zoo located in South Korea, which gave him an extensive experience with exotic animals. His second internship was at Equine Medicine Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates internship in the University of Missouri. Dr. Kim also had done two postgraduate courses; the first one on Small Animal at Animal Medical Center (New York), the second one at University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center. Despite of his rich experience in the field and the continuous effort, he is still studying new and better ways to treat his patients every day. He is the member of American Veterinary Medical Association, as well as a USDA certified veterinarian. He now lives with an adorable Morkie, Mocha.
