During this time, a mentor introduced him to hand and peripheral nerve surgery, sparking a lasting interest in the field’s intricate anatomy and the technical challenges of restoring function. What has continued to inspire him throughout his career is the opportunity to help patients regain the use of their hands, return to the activities they enjoy, and ultimately reclaim their independence. Hand surgery uniquely combines his passion for anatomy, technical problem-solving, and patient-centered care, making it an especially rewarding field.
