Insignia 20 Speakers - Great Sound - Dangerous Levels of EMF Radiation
Best Buy is one of my favorite stores however I am very disappointed that they are not testing their equipment and selling computer speakers like the Insignia 20 speakers without testing them for EMF radiation.
I had been using these for almost 6 weeks on my desk before someone came into my office and it set off an EMF Alarm for high doses of EMF radiation.
Not sure about other Insignia speaker products made in China however this is a bad sign and not a good reflection of stores carrying these types of products without EMF testing.
EMF frequency monitors can be purchased and uploaded on cell phone to show when you are in a high UMF zone. UMF radiation can be researched online however in general terms it is not healthy to be around.
Hopefully Best Buy will
1. Remove these from store shelves
2. Start testing their products
Remove these speakers from pointing at your body - get them as far away as the cord allows. Unplug when not in use.
