This three bedroom, one bathroom cabin offers immediate access to snowmobile trails, and is less than one mile from lake/beach access to beautiful Lake George.
In summer and fall, paddle the picturesque Pelican River. The Pelican River offers exceptional canoeing & kayaking & miles of scenic views.
Enjoy beautiful Lake George Beach during the day (.8 mi.), then retreat from the busy tourists’ cabins & resorts to the privacy of your own campfire, at Redson Lodge.
There are also several great bar type eating options around the Lake George area if you'd rather let someone else do the cooking while you relax & enjoy a drink & some fine food.
In winter months, snowmobilers will enjoy immediate access to the Hodag Snow Trails. 140 miles of Hodag trails link Rhinelander, the “hub†of snowmobiling, to Tomahawk, Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, St. Germain, Eagle River, Three Lakes, Sugar Camp, Monico, Crandon, Pelican Lake and Antigo. Explore the entire northwoods on these scenic and adventurous trails! The cabin’s walk-in basement provides ample space for all of your sledding gear. Snowshoeing, and cross country ski opportunities are easily accessible at the Washburn Ski Trails, Nose Lake Trails, and Cassian Two Way Trails.
Anglers can fish summer or winter on Lake George. Lake George is a unique piece of water. This 440 acre lake has an abundant walleye population, good musky fishing, and a good supply of crappie, small and large mouth Bass, as well as abundant Pike. A boat landing is located on the east shoreline. In winter months, your snowmobile will quickly take you to the lake for fantastic ice fishing!
Redson Lodge even offers horse boarding, should you be traveling through with your horse(s).
