This home is a virtual botanical garden including palms, fruit trees, and some cactus gardens. If you have very small children keep an eye on them near the cactus gardens.

The main house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including two master bedroom suites. Each bedroom is luxuriously appointed with a California king bed, plush linens and HDTV's. They're well decorated with furnishing that you'll find to be exquisite, while each bathroom has double vessel sinks.

All three over sized showers in the main house are glass block with the showers in the two master suites being blue cobalt glass block imported from Germany.

The Casita, and the fourth bedroom, is located on the far end of the property with a private entrance and parking. It has a large bedroom with a king bed and extra closet space, a full size kitchen, an adjoining sitting area with a 60" television, a large outdoor tiled patio, a DVD player, and a blue tooth sound system for your smart phone.

The home's architecture is a blend of Mid-Century Modern and Spanish Mediterranean. Mid-Century features include stack stone masonry, large round windows, 1950's pizza troweled ceilings, and large boulders placed throughout the half acre of lawn.

Spanish Mediterranean features include beam ceilings, ranging from 9 feet to 15 feet, ceiling fans, and Terra-Cotta tile throughout accented with blue cobalt diamond corners.

There are approximately 600 plants on the property with over 120 palms of various sizes and a large variety of desert plants and cactus, some over 60 years old.

The entire property is very private and is surrounded by 8' walls and 12' ficus hedges.

The common area in the main house has a large open concept consisting of the living room, dining room, and the kitchen area. The fireplace hearth is a classic 1950's stack stone. The living room has two ceiling fans and opens to a shaded covered patio facing the pool and spa. The television in the living room is 60" and has HBO and a DVD player.

The dining table seats up to eight and has two large round windows with views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The kitchen looks out to the pool and has granite counter-tops and a five burner gas stove. This kitchen is completely outfitted for that gourmet chef of your group to prepare any meal.

The bright red 14' sculpture behind the pool was created by Alexander Liberman in 1970, the late Editorial Director of all Conde Nast Publications, including Vogue Magazine. Liberman was a famous painter, photographer, and sculpture.

There are photographs throughout the house of movie stars from the "Golden Era". You will see some of the best images of Humphrey Bogart, Lana Turner, Lucille Ball, Rhonda Fleming, Lauren Bacall, Veronica Lake, Loretta Young, Aubrey Hepburn, Gene Tierney and others.

The gardens are scattered with some old mosaics created by the previous homeowners. They are colorful and whimsical in nature and no doubt took a lot of time and effort to create. There are two on the patio off the living room and one more elaborate mosaic behind the gazebo on the pathway between the main house and the Casita.
