Raleigh, N.C. (September 29, 2011) – There are only three days left until the Big Bad Ball returns for its 10th year. This black tie event is presented by the Capital City Club’s Young Executives.
This year, the Big Bad Ball will be held Saturday, October 1st from 7p.m.-1a.m. at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh. Tickets are $125 each and can be purchased through http://www.bigbadball.com. Raffle tickets for the $10,000 raffle can be bought separately at $25 each or five for $100.
The Big Bad Ball benefits Hospice of Wake County’s Benevolent Care Program and Horizons Grief Center. Hospice of Wake County extends assistance beyond Wake by serving Durham, Johnston, Harnett, and Franklin Counties. In 2010, more than 300 guests attended the annual event, which raised nearly $100,000. This amount of fund-raising translates into 630 days of Hospice care.
WRAL-TV’s Monica Laliberte will be this year’s emcee and the Big Bad Ball is also featuring live music performed by tHE.DESIGN and The Moonlighters Orchestra, a silent auction, Ritani door prizes from Fink’s Jewelers and a $10,000 raffle. There will be five open bars, a wide selection of hors d’oeuvres and a late night breakfast.
