In the heavy-duty truck world, for towing and hauling, the Ford F450 Super Duty is the industry leader. SweetPea is a beauty to drive and so easy to manage. I have driven SweetPea across the country from East to West and reverse, and South to North and back during summer. The F450 Super Duty’s adaptive steering enhances the responsiveness and maneuverability of SweetPea on the highway. I was able to maintain the speed limit and keep up with the big trucks, even on Texas I-10 at 75mph. The F450’s Tow/haul mode delays upshift and provides engine braking which helped when I was driving SweetPea down steep Tennessee and West Virginia mountain roads. It is extremely helpful when towing or hauling heavy loads. SweetPea has dual rear wheels and comes equipped with three cameras – a back up camera, side view cameras located in each side mirror with heated mirrors. SweetPea is a pleasure to drive and surprising easy to handle, even for my 70 year old single woman aunt. She has new tires that are rotated regularly and I follow all Ford maintenance schedules.
