This duplex apartment is on the second floor or a building without lift so the access is made by stairs. Being inside the castle, one of the 7 hills of Lisbon you have to expect steep stairs. It's bright and spacious and it has been refurbished to combine comfort and modern commodities alongside the traditional features. The living room has an AC unit that is enough to heat up or cool down the whole apartment. There are two large traditional windows that allow for lots of natural light and that have access to a small portuguese balcony. There is a comfortable sofa for two people, two armchairs and a rocking chair. You have cable TV with international channels as well as Wi-Fi access. The living room space is wide and has also a dining area with a big table that sits four people comfortably and a single bed with a trundle bed underneath that allows to sleep two extra guest comfortably. The kitchen is a good sized kitchen with plenty of storage space access to a small balcony and it is fully equipped with all the necessary cooking and cleaning amenities including a dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen opens up to the living room with a counter that has two stools for informal meals. The bathroom contains a full-size bath-tub with shower. The apartment is bright and homely and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the heart of historic Lisbon.
