Born in Portland, Les graduated from Portland High School in 1991. You might also see him dressed as a city mail carrier every Monday. Les joined the US Postal service after high school in preparation to attend college. After attaining his Physical Therapy Technician certification, Les knew this was what he wanted to do. After graduating from Volunteer State Community College Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2007. He began his practice in the Gallatin, Portland and surrounding areas in different settings. Les has worked in home health and outpatient therapy clinics with a focus in orthopedic related injuries. Les strives to provide a high quality standard of therapy. He has extensive experience in treating low back pain and has achieved great outcomes and patient goals. Les and his wife, Natalie, live in Portland with their two children. He enjoys attending church, playing basketball and golf.
NuLife Physical Therapy is credentialed with most major insurance companies and is Medicare and TNCare certified. The state of Tennessee allows licensed physical therapists to evaluate and treat patients without having to visit a MD to request an order (prescription). However, some insurance companies still require a prescription from an MD to meet their coverage requirements which we will call your MD and facilitate the treatment.
