The extent and severity of dental disease affecting the pediatric population inspired Dr. Cavano to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. Upon completing his residency in New York, Dr. Cavano joined the Pediatric Dental Group in 2001. Currently, Dr. Cavano serves as the Oral Health consultant for the Wellness Advisory Committee for Portland Public Schools. He is the past president of the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as an active member of the AAPD.
